>Moscow, July 2 (UNI) Russia's Progress MS-29 cargo spacecraft has undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) after being docked there since late November, according to a broadcast by Russian state space corporation Roscosmos on Tuesday.
The spacecraft was docked with the Poisk module of the Russian segment of the ISS, which faces space.
The spacecraft's propulsion system is expected to begin braking at 0.46 Moscow time on July 2 (21:46 GMT, July 1). After that, the spacecraft will slow down and descend from the orbit, entering the dense layers of the atmosphere and eventually disintegrating. Any unburned elements of its structure will then fall into a non-navigable area of the Pacific Ocean.
The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying Progress MS-29 was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on November 21, 2024. Progress MS-29 delivered to the ISS up to 1,155 kilograms (2,500 pounds) of dry cargo, 869 kilograms of fuel in refueling system tanks, 420 kilograms of drinking water and 43 kilograms of compressed nitrogen. The spacecraft also carried equipment and materials for space experiments.
